List customer return shipments
Lets Sidekick read the customer return shipments in Fulfil for one Shopify order. A return shipment brings items of an order back from the customer. Sidekick uses it whenever you ask about a return.
Questions it answers
- “Have we received the return for #1002?”
- “What’s still expected back from #1002?”
- “Where is the return for #1002? Is there tracking?”
- “Was the returned jacket from #1002 put back into stock?”
- “Which warehouse does the return for #1002 go to?”
What Sidekick sees
For each return shipment on the order:
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Number | The return’s number in Fulfil |
| Status | Where the return is in Fulfil |
| Created | When the return was created |
| Tracking | The tracking number and tracking link |
| Restock warehouse | The warehouse the items go back into |
| Restocked on | The date the items were put back into stock |
| Expected items | Items still expected back from the customer |
| Received items | Items received and put back into stock |
| Link | Opens the return in Fulfil |
Each item comes with its name, SKU, quantity, status and location.
The difference between expected and received items is what makes this tool useful. A return that’s half received shows the jacket as received and the scarf as still expected, so Sidekick can tell you exactly what’s missing.
How Sidekick uses it
Sidekick looks up the order in Shopify first and passes its ID to the tool. If the order has no returns in Fulfil, the tool returns an empty list and Sidekick tells you there’s no return.
