Update shipment details
Five actions each change one field on a Fulfil customer shipment. They all take the Customer shipment ID (required) of the shipment to update. Map it from the order data in your Flow, or from the result of Get all customer shipments.
Update planned shipping date
Sets the date the warehouse plans to ship the shipment.
Inputs
- Planned shipping date (required): the new date. Use
YYYY-MM-DD, like2026-07-30.
A value that isn’t a date fails the step with an error, and the shipment keeps its old date.
Update requested delivery date
Sets the delivery date you committed to the customer.
Inputs
- Requested delivery date (required): the new date, as
YYYY-MM-DD.
A value that isn’t a date fails the step with an error.
Update fulfillment priority
Sets the shipment’s priority in Fulfil, so the warehouse picks it earlier or later.
Inputs
- Priority (required): a whole number from
0to4. Fulfil’s default is2(Normal).
Any other number fails the step with an error.
Update box type
Sets the default box type the shipment is packed in.
Inputs
- Box type (required): the name of a box type in Fulfil.
Packwork matches the name without caring about capitals, and also matches part of a name. Use the full name when two box types look alike, so the right one is picked.
Update request confirmation
Sets the delivery confirmation the carrier should ask for, like a signature on delivery. This is the Request confirmation field on the shipment in Fulfil.
Inputs
- Request confirmation (required): one of Fulfil’s values:
| Value | What the carrier does |
|---|---|
service_default |
Whatever the carrier service does by default |
delivery |
Confirms delivery, no signature |
signature |
Asks for a signature |
adult_signature |
Asks for the signature of an adult |
direct_signature |
Asks for a signature at the delivery address |
indirect_signature |
Accepts a signature from a neighbour or someone else at the address |
do_not_safe_drop |
Doesn’t leave the parcel without someone to hand it to |
leave_at_door |
Leaves the parcel at the door |
contactless_delivery |
Delivers without contact |
Use the value exactly as written above. Anything else, including the label Fulfil shows on screen, fails the step with an error that lists the valid values.
Not every carrier supports every option, and Fulfil only checks that when it creates the label. An unsupported option makes label generation fail, so stick to the options your carriers offer.
Typical use
Ask for an adult signature on orders that contain age-restricted products, or for a signature on orders above a certain value. Run the action right after the order is created, before Fulfil generates the label.
